How To Personalize Specific Company Information on a Microsite-By-Microsite Basis

An Admin or Manager's Guide to Making Exceptions to the Rule

By default, everything that is saved to your Company Information profile is considered global or consistent across the board for every microsite on your account.

So what if one of your microsites needs to display a different office phone number, or maybe some of your microsites need to use personalized links or lead capture methods?

To make exceptions or personalizations on a microsite-by-microsite basis, simply enable the "Allow users to personalize this field" toggle switches to unlock specific fields for personalization. This will essentially enable you to override generic company information for any microsite profile(s) as needed.

Here's how it works:

  1. Log in to your OneTapConnect account dashboard.
  2. Head to the Company Information page, then switch "on" whatever field(s) you'd like to unlock for personalizations.
  3. Click "Save," then head to the Users page.
  4. Click the name of the user whose microsite you would like to personalize, then click “Edit profile information.” This will take you to a series of forms, and you should see that any company information fields you've unlocked for personalization can now be overridden as needed.
  5. Click "save" when you're finished, and any personalizations you've made to any company information fields for that microsite should be immediately reflected on just that one live microsite.

To remove all personalizations and revert microsite information to what is saved in your Company Information profile, simply turn off the "Allow users to personalize this field" toggle switch for any field(s) with values you would like to keep consistent across your microsites.

Under default account settings, users without admin or manager access levels can update their own microsite information, and this permission extends to any company information fields you have unlocked for personalization.

If you'd like, you can restrict this access completely from the Settings page of your account dashboard, giving you full control over all the information on your company's microsites.
