Can I add the Meta Pixel or other tracking codes to a OneTapConnect Microsite?
As of today, OneTapConnect does not support adding the Meta (Facebook) Pixel or other third-party tracking code to Microsites.
The primary reason is legal and compliance-related. Many tracking pixels collect non-anonymous user data or enable behavioral tracking. Under privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and similar data-protection laws, this would require:
-
A publicly accessible privacy policy
-
Explicit user consent (e.g., cookie banners or consent pop-ups) before tracking begins
-
Ongoing compliance with user data rights and opt-out mechanisms
Introducing these requirements would add friction to the user experience and could negatively impact the first impression and conversion flow when someone accesses a OneTapConnect Microsite.
To preserve a clean, professional, and compliant experience, OneTapConnect currently restricts the use of tracking scripts on Microsites.
Important: This includes, but is not limited to, Meta Pixel, Google Ads tracking, TikTok Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, and similar technologies.
We continuously evaluate platform capabilities and compliance standards. If support for tracking pixels becomes available in the future, it will be implemented in a way that prioritizes privacy, legal compliance, and user experience.
